John Brasil bows are nickel mounted bows that made in the French style and come in all sizes (1/4 - 4/4).

Stamell Strings and Horst John:
Stamell Strings has a long history with the bowmaking firm of Horst John. Soon after we opened our doors in April of 1989, Horst John came to visit with his wife Jacy Sousa. Stamell Strings started buying Pernambuco bows from him, and the relationship continues to this day. Horst John died a few years later, and Jacy took over the company at that time. Horst John is one of the founders of The Pernambuco Conservation Initiative, a consortium of companies and Brazilian governmental departments with a mission to conserve the precious resource of Pernambuco in Brazil.
