About Craig Eastman: Craig is a multi-instrumentalist who grew up in Western Mass playing fiddle, winning the New England “Trick and Fancy” Fiddle Championship before an audience of 60,000 when he was thirteen.
Craig now is based in Los Angeles where he records, composes, and produces music in many styles.   He has worked with artists from Elton John, Hans Zimmer, Willie Nelson, Steve Martin, Ray Charles.  His compositions and playing can be heard on film scores including Pirates of the Caribbean, Black Hawk Down, Rango, Broke Back Mountain, and many others.
Craig is a longtime friend of Stamell Strings, where he purchased his favorite Cornelissen Violin, and Hill bow, as well as performing for shop concerts, and master classes.  Craig's signature “bow hair loss” playing technique has kept the Stamell re-hair department on stand-by-alert every March for years.
