David Burgess is a multi award-winning violin maker based in Ann Arbor, Michigan. His instruments are featured in the permanent collections of both the Smithsonian Institution in Washington, D.C., and the Museo del Violino in Cremona, Italy. Widely recognized for his craftsmanship, Burgess has received the prestigious “Hors Concours” designation from the Violin Society of America and is also honored by the American Federation of Violin and Bow Makers for his contributions to the art of violin making.
