Gunther Prager violas look and sound like much more expensive instruments. The sound is rich and full, and the varnish, though new, looks like what one would find on old master instruments from the 19th century. LUBOCKI/RUDOULPH DOETSCH
Our top-selling workshop-made violins are made in Germany and are available in both Stradivari and Guarneri del Gesu models. The varnish is an antiqued orange brown on a golden ground giving these violins the attractive appearance of fine old instruments. Each instrument is carefully set up in our shop to provide a rich warm tone.
