William Cumpiano

Guitars

Stamell Stringed Instruments is honored to represent one of the great guitar makers working today, William Cumpiano. Mr. Cumpiano has practiced his craft for over 40 years, producing fine hand made guitars from his studio in Western Massachusetts. He is also the author of one of the authoritative works on guitar making, used by aspiring and professional makers everywhere.

Mr. Cumpiano has also been a mentor and inspiration to Matt Stamell, proprietor of Stamell Stringed Instruments, so it is fitting that now, years later, they are able to collaborate to present fine guitars to players and connoiseurs of fine craftsmanship.
