labeled Johanus Franciscus Pressenda, is by Pierre Pacherel.
Pacherel was one of Pressenda's collaborators and worked in
Turin in the early-mid 1800s, having received much of his training
in Mirecourt.
The violin we offer is a beautiful example of the maker's work,
a Guarneri model with a striking red-brown varnish on a golden
